Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Maintenance Assistant for a 197-room hotel located at a vibrant location in London, offering exciting projects to be involved in! The hotel is part of the award-winning German-based Motel One Group. Join our team and seize this unique opportunity!

Your responsibilities include:

• Undertaking daily inspections of the premises to identify defects and carrying out repairs and renovations
• Monitoring the functionality of equipment, lifts, and technical facilities
• Ensuring outdoor areas are clean and maintained
• Coordinating with external companies and checking maintenance work
• Working with multicultural teams to gain insights into new areas of activity

Qualifications

You are a hotel professional with manual skills or a tradesperson passionate about the hotel industry. Personality and hosting skills are our priority. Additionally, you should:

• Have completed a technical apprenticeship and/or have professional experience in trades or building maintenance, or be seeking a career change
• Be open, communicative, detail-oriented, and interested in technology
• Be flexible, creative, and maintain high-quality standards even under stress
• Be a team player willing to assist across departments
