Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd in Coalville is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join a state-of-the-art, fully automated factory. You will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance to maximise uptime.

You will work with an experienced engineering team, develop practical hands-on skills, and progress toward more senior technician roles.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding capabilities.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a UK manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding and preventative maintenance on automated production machinery.
• Support uptime and efficiency by maintaining machinery with the engineering team.

Maintenance Assistant

Salary: £38,000 + Overtime + Pension + Exstensive Training

Location: Coalville
Shifts: 4's and 5's days and nights

About the Role

This is going to be any engineer’s dream to work in this state-of-the-art, fully automated, fast-paced factory. They have recently invested into the site and it's a great place to work for any maintenance Assisatant who wants to develop their career both technically and/or into management.

This is an excellent oppurtunity for someone at the earlier part of their career who has completed their engineering qualifications and is now looking to put that into practice and get teh hands on experience they are looking for. You will be working alongside a highly skilled experienced engineering team who will be mentoring you each day with an end goal of you moving up into a technician role.

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.
