Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott Bexleyheath is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our on-site team and ensure guest comfort through reliable maintenance and responsive service. You will carry out preventative maintenance, respond to repair requests, and support safety and professional appearance while collaborating with colleagues to achieve high standards of hospitality.

Experience with basic tools, radios, and shut-off valves preferred; training provided.

Qualifications

• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience in a customer service role.
• Supervisory Experience: None required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests promptly and efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Inspect tools, equipment, and machines visually to ensure proper functioning.
• Carry and operate equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment as needed.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.
• Record information for unfinished calls prior to shift changes.
• Follow safety and security policies and report any maintenance problems or hazards.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
