Job summary

Severn Trent Water is seeking a Network Construction Engineer to deliver mains renewal on-site within one of four regions. You’ll join the construction team, assist the Network Construction Manager, and help deliver projects to programme while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires a full driving license, strong communication, and utility-industry experience; you’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on delivering essential services to communities.

Qualifications

• Full driving license required.
• National Water Hygiene and NRSWA certifications preferred.
• Experience in utility-based industries is desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Undertake pre-site checks with the Network Construction Manager.
• Support schemes delivery and liaise with Network Control at key stages.
• Carry out on-site construction activities including excavation, pipe laying, testing, and commissioning.
• Assist in valve operations and ensure compliance with SOPs and SSOW.
