Job summary

Addition is seeking a seasoned macOS engineer to own and evolve the end-user computing estate. You will manage macOS devices with Jamf Pro, collaborate with architects and engineers, and provide technical design and documentation.

The role spans Windows and mobile support when needed, with focus on secure, scalable macOS environments across UK government services. Join a major digital transformation programme requiring strong troubleshooting, security-conscious design, and proactive maintenance

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing macOS at scale in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on Jamf Pro and end-user device management.
• Security-conscious design for enterprise desktops and laptops.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of the macOS environment, designing and delivering solutions across end-user devices.
• Manage and enhance macOS devices using Jamf Pro and wider MDM tooling.
• Collaborate with Architects and engineers to develop the end-user computing platform.
• Act as escalation point for live services, perform root cause analysis.
• Produce technical design, build and infrastructure documentation for macOS solutions.
• Support Windows and mobile environments when required to assist teams.
