Job summary

Plastic Engineering Solutions Ltd is seeking a Level 3 Machining Technician as part of an apprentice program in Wiltshire. You will work in a bespoke plastics engineering environment serving automotive, medical, and transport clients.

This three-year apprenticeship covers engineering and manufacturing, with a Monday-Thursday 8:00–16:30 schedule and a half-hour lunch break. Training is provided by Wiltshire College and University Centre.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is essential for precise tooling and inspection.
• Strong problem solving is required to diagnose and fix MRO issues.
• Analytical thinking helps optimise tooling and processes.

Responsibilities

• MRO tasks focusing on tooling; maintain and repair jigs and tools.
• Complete jig and tool repairs to manufacturing specs.
• Support production with breakdowns, modifications and improvement initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO). Primarily Tooling
• Complete jig and tool repairs in line with manufacturing requirements
• Support production with daily activities such as breakdowns, modifications and improvement initiatives
