Interface Recruitment presents a Technical Advisor – Machine Manufacturing in East Yorkshire. The role acts as the bridge between customers, field engineers and internal teams, delivering expert technical advice, troubleshooting and timely service resolutions.

The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical, electronics or mechanical maintenance, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with proficiency in software tools.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Background in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical maintenance preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Confident with computer systems and technical software.
• Proactive, able to learn and work independently or in a team.
• Experience in machinery, engineering, PLC software or HMI is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing clear technical support.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely or escalate as needed.
• Log, track and manage cases to ensure timely resolution and satisfaction.
• Prepare quotations for machine modifications, service work and retrofits with internal teams.
• Provide part specifications and assist with software-related troubleshooting.
• Coordinate and schedule engineer visits, service jobs and relocations.
• Support field engineers with logistics, technical and admin tasks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and training resources.
