Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Technical Trainer based in Peterborough to teach engineers and customers how to operate, program, maintain and repair specialist machinery. The role involves delivering practical sessions, updating materials and providing ongoing technical support.

You will identify training needs with managers, plan courses on machinery, hydraulics, electronics and programming, and ensure proper certification and record-keeping while promoting a high standard of quality.

Qualifications

• Experience training people to use or maintain equipment.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and with patience.
• Organised and adaptable with strong relationship-building skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs with managers and plan the required training.
• Plan and deliver training on machinery operation, programming, maintenance and repair.
• Create presentations, guides and online courses.
• Ensure training materials stay up to date with equipment changes.
• Coordinate training sessions and issue certificates.
• Organise external training for engineers and statutory courses.
• Support warranty procedures and recall actions.
• Verify training meets quality standards (City & Guilds criteria).

Education

Technical qualification in vehicles, agricultural equipment, electrical systems or hydraulics
