Job summary

Netbox Recruitment Ltd. is recruiting for a Machinery Safety Assessor to join a specialist team working with major blue-chip clients across the UK and beyond.

The role involves visiting client sites, assessing machinery against safety standards and preparing detailed reports on non-compliances and safety requirements. Ideal candidates will have a keen interest in machinery safety, be willing to learn, and be able to travel up to 2 weeks per month.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in machinery, engineering or industrial safety.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Ability to work independently, manage workload and use initiative.
• Confidence to ask questions and seek guidance when needed.
• Strong communication, organisation and report-writing skills.
• Proactive attitude towards learning and industry knowledge development.
• Flexibility to travel throughout the UK and overseas (2 of 4 weeks per month).

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites and assess machinery against relevant safety standards.
• Identify non-compliances and produce detailed technical reports.
• Help clients understand machinery safety requirements (e.g., PUWER and CE/UKCA marking).
• Receive full training on bespoke assessment systems and internal procedures.
