Job summary

Netbox Recruitment Ltd in Leeds is seeking a Machinery Safety Assessor for a field-based role with major clients across the UK and Europe. You will visit client sites, assess machinery against safety standards, identify non-compliances and prepare detailed technical reports, including PUWER and CE/UKCA marking guidance.

The role offers full training on specialist systems, opportunities to progress within a growing safety and compliance practice and a balance of site visits with reporting duties.

Qualifications

• Interest in machinery, engineering or industrial safety.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Strong report-writing and communication skills.
• Proactive attitude to learning and industry knowledge.
• Willingness to travel UK and overseas (2 of 4 weeks).
• UK driving licence preferred to support travel.

Responsibilities

• Visit client sites to assess machinery against safety standards.
• Identify non-compliances and produce detailed technical reports.
• Explain machinery safety requirements including PUWER and CE/UKCA marking.
• Receive full training on bespoke assessment systems and procedures.
