Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is helping a well‑established safety and machinery compliance specialist in Macclesfield recruit a Safety Engineer (Machinery). You will take autonomy on inspections, risk assessments and regulatory advice for UKCA/CE compliance.

You'll travel internationally as needed, work 40 hours a week, and benefit from a generous package including a company bonus, training, progression, car allowance, 33 days holiday and private medical care.

Qualifications

• Hands-on machinery compliance experience required.
• Strong knowledge of machinery safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage complex technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee machinery inspections and risk assessments.
• Advise manufacturers on regulatory compliance and safety standards.
• Review and produce legal documentation for machinery compliance.
• 40 hours per week with flexible working hours.
