Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Machinery Technician for a busy manufacturing site. The role involves encapsulation, sealing and priming of assemblies, following procedures and BOMs, and operating encapsulation equipment.

You will perform routine maintenance, support continuous improvement, and ensure high quality workmanship while maintaining a clean, safe environment. Candidates should have hands-on experience with machinery and mechanical assembly, and be able to work

Responsibilities

• Carry out encapsulation, sealing and priming of assemblies.
• Follow manufacturing procedures, drawings and BOMs.
• Operate and monitor encapsulation equipment and related machinery.
• Carry out routine checks, cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Assist with maintenance of production equipment, including filters and extraction systems.
• Plan and manage workload in line with production requirements.
• Complete relevant production paperwork and documentation.
• Raise non-conformance and rework records as required.
• Ensure products are manufactured to the required quality and workmanship standards.
• Follow Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Support continuous improvement activities and identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Work independently while also contributing effectively as part of the wider production team.

We are looking for an experienced Machinery Technician to join a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out encapsulation, sealing and preparation processes on a range of manufactured assemblies, ensuring work is completed safely, accurately and to the required quality standards.

This is a hands‑on manufacturing role suited to someone with good attention to detail and experience working with machinery and mechanical assembly processes.

The Role

• Operate and monitor encapsulation equipment and associated machinery.
• Carry out routine checks, cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Assist with the maintenance of associated production equipment, including filters and extraction systems.
• Plan and manage workload in line with production requirements.
• Complete relevant production paperwork and documentation.
• Raise non-conformance and rework records where required.
• Ensure products are manufactured to the required quality and workmanship standards.
• Follow relevant ESD procedures and manufacturing controls.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

• Work independently while also contributing effectively as part of the wider production team.
• Follow all Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
