Job summary

Tennial Personnel are recruiting a Machine Technician to join a manufacturing team in Halesworth, Suffolk. The role is temporary-to-permanent, with a probation period and potential for a permanent position after probation.

Shifts are Monday to Friday on a rotating pattern: 05:45am–02:45pm and 01:00pm–10:00pm. Full on-site work with a focus on setup, changeovers and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous machine setting or line setting experience within an FMCG or manufacturing environment is essential.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Self-motivated with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare production lines to ensure they are ready for scheduled production.
• Carry out accurate machine and line changeovers while maintaining efficiency and quality standards.
• Support production teams by troubleshooting minor machine issues and ensuring equipment operates effectively.
• Assist with engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support line trials for new products and production processes.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company procedures and health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate production records where required.
• Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to achieve production targets.

Tennial Personnel are currently recruiting for a Machine Technician to join our client's manufacturing team based in Halesworth, Suffolk, on a temporary-to-permanent basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful probation period.

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday rotating shifts.
