Position: Machine Shop Manager

Location: Waterlooville

Salary: £55,000 per annum, based on a 45-hour working week.

Machine Shop Manager required for a well-established manufacturer based in Waterlooville. The successful Production Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a team of manual & CNC machinists.

Job Overview
  • Allocating jobs in the workshop to the team of manual & CNC machinists
  • Overseeing quality controls of parts
  • Providing the machinists with technical advice and support with programming
  • Assisting with project management, estimating and the purchasing of materials
  • Producing progress reports on jobs
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives
Job Requirements
  • Proven background within production management
  • Good understanding / experience with CNC Programming, setting & operating
  • Experience with CAD/ CAM software is desirable
  • Understanding of quality assurance processes
  • Good planning & scheduling skills
Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £55,000 per annum
  • Working hours Monday to Friday 07:30 - 17:00. 45 hour working week.
