Recruit4staff LTD are representing a leading packaging manufacturing business in their search for a Machine Setter to work in Leicester. You will set and operate folding machinery, ensuring cartons meet high quality standards with precise tolerances.

The role involves making readies on complex cartons (4-corner cartons, crash lock bases, internal fitments and double-wall cartons), producing packing labels, and keeping the work area clean per 5S standards.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience setting and operating machinery, ideally within printing, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, or similar production environments.
• PC literate

Job Details:

Pay: Competitive Salary

Hours of Work: Double Days, Monday to Friday 6:00 am - 1:30 pm | 1:20 pm - 8:50 pm

Duration: Permanent

Benefits: Pension (4% employee / 5% employer), 26 days plus Bank Holidays

Job Role: The Machine Setter will be responsible for setting and operating folding machinery to ensure products are produced to the highest quality standards. The successful Machine Setter will complete make-readies on complex cartons including 4-corner cartons, crash lock bases, internal fitments and double-wall cartons, produce packing labels, and maintain a clean and organised work area in line with 5S standards.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous experience setting and operating machinery, ideally within printing, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, or similar production environments
• PC literate

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous experience within the print and packaging industry
• Knowledge of HHS Gluing Systems
