Job summary

Recruit4staff, representing a leading packaging manufacturer, is seeking a Machine Setter to join their production team. The role involves setting and operating folding machinery, completing make-readies on complex cartons, producing packing labels, and maintaining a clean, organized work area to 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience setting and operating machinery, ideally within printing, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, or similar production environments.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate folding machinery to ensure high-quality output.
• Complete make-readies on complex cartons (4-corner cartons, crash lock bases, internal fitments, double-wall cartons).
• Produce packing labels and maintain a clean, organised work area in line with 5S standards.

Machine Setter to work in

Job Role:

The Machine Setter will be responsible for setting and operating folding machinery to ensure products are produced to the highest quality standards. The successful Machine Setter will complete make-readies on complex cartons including 4-corner cartons, crash lock bases, internal fitments and double-wall cartons, produce packing labels, and maintain a clean and organised work area in line with 5S standards.

Machine Setter position could be ideal for you.

Hours of Work:

Double Days, Monday to Friday 6:00 am – 1:30 pm | 1:20 pm – 8:50 pm

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:

• Previous experience setting and operating machinery, ideally within printing, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, or similar production environments

Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Previous experience within the print and packaging industry
• Knowledge of HHS Gluing Systems
