Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Machine Production Setter for a night shift in Quedgeley. The role is permanent with a split schedule: weeks with 60 hours, and 24 hours in the following week (6:00 pm to 6:00 am). Salary is £36,797 per year including shift allowance.

You will load, set and operate cutting machinery, ensuring quality and KPI targets are met in a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in machinery, robotics, and quality control, with the ability to work

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing machinery and robotics.
• Load, set and operate manufacturing cutting machinery.
• Experience in engineering/manufacturing environment is essential.
• Able to work under pressure and hit targets and KPIs.
• Experience with basic cutting is advantageous.
• Ability to quality check your own work using measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, callipers and shadowgraph.

Job type- Permanent

Salary:£36797 per year (inclusive of shift allowance)

Location: Quedgeley

Working hours: week 1 60 hours per week 2 24 hours per week (6:00 pm to 06:00 am)

We are looking for a Machine Production Setter who ideally has the following skills:

• Must have previous experience manufacturing machinery and robotics.
• Be able to load, set and operate manufacturing cutting machinery.
• Previous experience in an engineering / manufacturing environment is essential.
• Be able to work under pressure and hit targets and KPI’s.
