Qualifications

• Previous experience operating Overhead Cranes (Licence preferred).
• Experience as a Machine Setter.
• Basic MIG Welding experience is preferred.
• Experience working in a manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

• Run the Box Beam Line solely.
• Carry out general factory duties.
• Perform basic MIG welding repairs.
• Operate overhead cranes.
• Handle additional duties as required.

Overview

Owen Payne Recruitment are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Hill & Smith Infrastructure. We are seeking a Machine Setter to join their team based in Bilston.

If you're an experienced Machine Setting and are looking for a new challenge, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! This role is a 12 week temp to perm for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Running the “Box Beam Line” solely
• General Factory duties
• Basic MIG Welding to repair any welds that the machine has missed
• Operating Overhead Cranes
• Any additional duties as and when required

Essential Skills & Experience

• Previous experience operating Overhead Cranes (Licence preferred)
• Previous experience Machine Setting
• Previous basic MIG Welding experience
• Previous experience working within a Manufacturing company
• Previous work experience working with steel is a bonus

Shifts

• Monday to Thursday – 07:00 till 15:45
• Friday – 07:00 till 13:00

Rate of pay

£16.81 per hour
