Job summary

Safetykleen is recruiting for a field-based role across the UK, with daily site visits to service equipment, collect waste and deliver products. You will be trained to perform inspections, minor repairs, and ensure compliance while supporting customers in a practical, hands-on way.

You’ll work in a dynamic environment, travel to various sites, and contribute to safer workplaces with a strong emphasis on safety, customer service, and professional conduct.

Role Overview

You’ll be out on the road every day carrying out servicing, inspections, minor repairs, and chemical waste collections and deliveries. Your work has a real, visible impact, keeping customer sites safe, compliant, and efficient.

What You’ll Be Doing

• You’ll service and maintain parts washers, making sure equipment is cleaned, checked, and running safely and efficiently to keep customers compliant and operational.
• You’ll handle waste collection and product delivery, safely managing and transporting materials.
• You’ll carry out inspections and preventative maintenance, spotting issues early and preventing breakdowns before they happen.
• You’ll engage directly with customers on site, building trust, following procedures, and making sure every visit is completed to a high standard.
• You’ll carry out repairs and part replacements, with full training and ongoing development provided to build your technical skills and confidence.
• You’ll use digital tools to accurately record your work, capturing key service information, and any important findings from each visit.
• And you’ll constantly be scanning for improvements-whether that’s a service opportunity, a risk, or a smarter way of doing things.
