Job summary

PrepWorld is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and manage the Proseal GT1 heat sealing machine on a four-day work week in Northfleet. You will perform startup checks, run production, and complete required paperwork with training provided.

The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, basic English and numeracy, with training offered for maintenance and safety. PrepWorld provides overtime, free parking, PPE, staff restaurant and events.

Qualifications

• Experience with Proseal GT1 preferred; other machinery considered.
• Reliable with proactive problem solving.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Basic English and good numeracy.

Job description

PrepWorld is looking for a Machine Operator - responsible for the set up and daily management of Proseal GT1 heat sealing machine.

Main Duties:

• Carry out machinery start up checks and report anomalies
• Ensure safe use of our facilities and equipment, while also ensuring safe working environment
• Able to complete all necessary paperwork associated with the role (Training provided)
• Undertake preventative maintenance activities for Proseal GT1 heat sealing machine (Training provided)
• Tooling inspections and damage reports

Who we are looking for:

• Ideally experienced with Proseal GT1 but other machinery experience will be considered
• Reliable, with a pro-active approach to problem solving
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Basic English, and good numeracy skills

Sunday to Wednesday 05:30 to 17:30

Pay:

£13.53/hr (Level 1), £14.48p/hr (Level 2), £16.65 p/hr (Level 3)
