Job summary

PrepWorld in Northfleet is seeking Machine Operators for night shifts to set up and run Proseal GT1 heat sealing machines, perform startup checks and report anomalies. You will carry out safety checks and maintain documentation while contributing to a supportive team.

The role runs Sunday to Wednesday, 18:30–06:00, with pay starting at £13.21 per hour plus a £0.50 per hour night shift allowance. On-site parking and subsidised staff facilities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with Proseal GT1 preferred.
• Able to perform startup checks and report anomalies.
• Maintain safe working environment and complete required paperwork.

Machine Operators (Nights)

Prepworld is looking for Machine Operators - responsible for the set up and daily management of Proseal GT1 heat sealing machines.

• Carry out machinery start up checks and report anomalies
• Ensure safe use of our facilities and equipment, while also ensuring safe working environment
• Able to complete all necessary paperwork associated with the role (Training provided)
• Undertake preventative maintenance activities for Proseal GT1 heat sealing machine (Training provided)
• Tooling inspections and damage reports

Who we are looking for:

• Ideally experienced with Proseal GT1 but other machinery experience will be considered
• Reliable, with a pro-active approach to problem solving
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Basic English and good numeracy skills
