Job summary

Gotpeople Limited is seeking diligent and dependable workers to operate slitting and rewinding machines and prepare rolls of stamping foils for customer orders. The role requires safe operating practices, initiative, and teamwork in a busy factory environment.

This Monday–Friday position may include shift patterns. The salary package includes pension and free on-site parking, with opportunities for long-term career progression.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading slitting and rewinding machines
• Setting up and operating machines, adjusting cutting blades, tension and brake settings
• Inspecting products for quality and making adjustments
• Unloading, cleaning and labelling prepared rolls for customer orders
• Completing production order confirmations using SAP
• Regularly cleaning machines and maintaining high housekeeping
• Operating reach trucks and roll-lifting equipment when required
• Undertaking additional duties as directed by the Factory Manager

Job description

We are seeking diligent, enthusiastic, and dependable individuals with a strong work ethic to operate slitting and rewinding machines y, preparing rolls of stamping foils in accordance with customer orders. This role is ideal for practically minded candidates who can work safely using their own initiative, while also collaborating effectively within a dedicated, customer-focused team. The position involves shift work.

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading slitting and rewinding machines
• Setting up and operating machines, including adjusting cutting blades, tension, and brake settings
• Inspecting products for quality during operation and making necessary adjustments
• Unloading, cleaning, and labelling prepared rolls for customer orders
• Completing production order confirmations using the SAP system
• Regularly cleaning machines and maintaining high housekeeping standards
• Operating reach trucks and roll-lifting equipment when required
• Undertaking additional duties as directed by the Factory Manager

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Ability to work safely in a busy factory environment
• Experience operating machinery is advantageous but not essential
