Job summary

The Best Connection currently recruits on behalf of our well-established client in Wolverhampton. The role is for experienced Machine Operators to join a busy production team, offering a long-term temporary position with the potential to secure a permanent role for reliable, hardworking candidates.

Pay rate is £12.71 per hour, with a permanent twilight shift from 4:00pm to 12:00am, Monday to Friday. Duties include operating CNC Routers, Guillotines, and CNC Machines, reading drawings, measuring

• Previous experience operating production machinery is essential.
• Ability to read technical drawings and measure accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of production machinery, including CNC Routers, Guillotines, and CNC Machines.
• Carry out basic assembly using hand tools and read technical drawings.
• Measure accurately using a tape measure and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Pack finished goods and keep a clean, safe workspace.

Pay Rate £12.71 per hour Working Hours Permanent Twilight Shift Monday to Friday 4:00pm - 12:00am The Role Your duties will include: Operating a range of production machinery, including: CNC Routers Guillotines CNC Machines Carrying out basic assembly work using hand tools Reading and working from technical drawings Measuring accurately using a tape measure Producing products to a consistently high standard Packing finished goods ready for dispatch Working to production schedules and quality standards Maintaining a safe and organised working environment Manual handling and lifting where required What We're Looking For To be considered for this role, you should have: Previous experience operating production machinery (essential) Experience within a manufacturing or production environment The ability to read technical drawings Good numerical skills and the ability to measure accurately Excellent attention to detail The ability to work independently and as part of a team A positive attitude and strong work ethic Flexibility to complete an initial training period on day shifts before transferring to the permanent twilight shift What We Offer Long-term temporary position with genuine permanent opportunities Full on-site training Stable Monday to Friday working hours Opportunity to join a well-established and growing manufacturing business Immediate starts available for suitable candidates.
