Job summary

The Best Connection in Wolverhampton is seeking experienced Machine Operators to join a busy production team on a long-term temporary basis with the potential for permanency.

You will operate a range of machinery, read technical drawings, and work to tight production and quality standards in a safe, organised environment. Pay is £12.71 per hour on a permanent twilight shift, Monday to Friday, 4:00pm–12:00am, with immediate starts for reliable candidates.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating production machinery is essential.
• Experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Good numerical skills and the ability to measure accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to train on day shifts before transferring to the permanent twilight shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of production machinery including CNC Routers, Guillotines, and CNC Machines.
• Carry out basic assembly work using hand tools.
• Read and work from technical drawings.
• Measure accurately using a tape measure.
• Produce products to a consistently high standard.
• Pack finished goods ready for dispatch.
• Work to production schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
• Manual handling and lifting where required.
