Job summary

Aqumen Recruitment is seeking a Machine Operator for a manufacturing site in Wakefield. The role requires flexibility to work 6am–2pm or 7am–3pm to keep production running smoothly.

You will operate machinery, remove finished products, pack and label, perform basic paperwork, carry out visual quality checks, reprocess waste, clean machines and areas, and follow health and safety procedures as part of a team hitting production targets.

Qualifications

• Previous machine-operating or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and keep production running smoothly.
• Remove finished products from the line.
• Pack, label, and complete basic paperwork.
• Carry out visual quality checks.
• Reprocess waste using the waste picker.
• Clean machinery and maintain a tidy work area.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures.
• Work as part of a team to hit production targets.
