smol is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to support our packing lines at the Marden warehouse. You will focus on setup and monitoring to keep production running smoothly and drive efficiency.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with semi-automated machinery, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication in English. The role offers modern facilities and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Recent hands-on experience with semi-automated machinery in a production/packing environment
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
• Ability to follow instructions and SOPs
• Excellent written and spoken English and effective communication
• Understanding of best practice production procedures and health and safety requirements

Responsibilities

• Set up the case packer machines for production
• Carry out routine maintenance of machinery
• Ensure quality and productivity targets are met; record downtime
• Adjust the machine to improve quality and maintain line speeds
• Carry out in-process quality checks at set intervals and record downtime
• Carry out other packing-line duties to support production
• Balance multiple tasks and manage expectations as needed
