Job Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be joining the Finishing Team of 10 people, which includes Rewinding, Packing, and Despatch. You will report to the Finishing Supervisor, who oversees the entire department. The department runs 6 rewinding machines across two shifts.

As a Rewinder, you will be able to:

• Demonstrate your organisational skills consistently throughout your role - this is essential as you will be dealing with large volumes of labels that need to be kept in order.
• Develop your knowledge of rewinding techniques, such as repeal, braille, and numbering.
• Identify and work with different types of materials, such as sachets, PET liners, and glassine materials.
• Use your keen eye for detail to run rewind jobs to a high level of precision, understanding that every 1mm makes a difference.
• Be responsible for checking labels in the final stages and confidently raise concerns about quality.
• Work alongside Packing & Despatch, as well as Printers, to ensure efficient production flow.
• Lead by example and maintain excellent Health and Safety standards.
• Contribute to our Continuous Improvement Culture by suggesting ideas for efficiency and innovation.
