Job summary

Solidus, an international packaging solutions company based in Skipton, is hiring a Machine Operator. The role involves setting up and operating Die Cutter, Folder Gluer, and Printer lines to produce high-quality packaging products.

Training will be provided for multiple processes to support continuous improvement and skill development. The position offers a full-time permanent contract with a weekly rotating shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery such as Die Cutter, Folder Gluer or Printer.
• Set machines for a wide range of customer products and adjust tooling.
• Monitor running speeds and maintain efficiencies to meet targets.
• Report tooling damages or upgrades to the Engineering/Team Leader.
• Carry out routine maintenance and hygiene tasks per BRC requirements.
• Learn and operate other process lines as part of training.
