Rubicon Recruitment Agency currently has a permanent Machine Operator / Production Operative position in Yeovil. The role involves turning sheet metal and assembling products on a range of machinery, with rotating shifts and day shifts available, and overtime to boost earnings.

You will set up and operate press brakes, CNC routers and lasers, read technical drawings, and ensure quality with precise measurements and documentation.

Qualifications

• Setting and operating press brake, CNC router and laser machinery.
• Reading technical drawings and Bills of Materials, then measuring and inspecting parts.
• Assembling products using hand and air tools across production areas.
• Following health and safety procedures and contributing to continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Setting and operating press brake, CNC router and laser machinery, checking materials for size, thickness and grade.
• Reading technical drawings and Bills of Materials, then measuring and inspecting parts accurately.
• Assembling products using hand and air tools across the production areas.
• Deburring, sorting, routing and labelling parts, and completing quality documentation.
• Inspecting, testing and packaging finished products to specification.
• Following health and safety procedures and contributing to continuous improvement.
