Job summary
Optima UK Inc Ltd in Loughborough is seeking a Press Brake Operator to operate CNC press brake machinery and form metal components to customer specifications. You will work from engineering drawings and production instructions, ensuring products meet quality standards and safety requirements.
The role is permanent with a Monday to Friday, 6:00am-2:00pm shift. The company offers a form of pension, private medical plans, life insurance and on-site parking as part of a family-owned business
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating CNC press brake machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Experience working with sheet metal or fabricated components.
- Good understanding of measurements, angles and tolerances.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Problem-solving mindset for production issues.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC press brake machinery safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Select and load the correct materials and tooling for each job.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments where required.
- Carry out quality inspections on finished components.
- Load and unload materials safely.
