The successful candidate will work on a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern, with a starting pay rate of £13.10 per hour, increasing with training and development.

Job description

SWIFT Temps Ltd Industrial Recruitment Division are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator in Keighley, Permanent Position.

About the role:

• To work within the extrusion department, you will effectively maintain machine efficiency and quality to a high standard, producing sheet, regrind and bale stock to the correct customer requirements
• Working a s Machine Operator
• Perform product changeovers, setups and run to the manufacturing specification, particularly within the production time targets.
• To control and minimize the levels of any waste and ensure machine is achieving target output.
• Ensure correct raw materials are input into the extruder as specified on the daily blend plan.
• Ensure the reels of extruded sheet are stacked, neatly, correctly labelled and marked with the correct signage.
• Ensure all waste or defect product is segregated and correctly labelled to enable appropriate removal.
• Carry out all machine clean downs as instructed on the SOP and completing cleaning records.

Working Pattern:

The business runs Monday to Sunday the shifts are to work 4 days on and 4 days off on a rotation basis 7AM to 7PM

Starting Pay Rate: 13.10 at level 1 after further training and development there is an increasing pay scale to be able to achieve higher pay grades up toa level 5
