We are looking for experienced machine operatives to join one of our well-established clients in Haslingden.

!! Candidates must have experience working within manufacturing environment !

Responsibilities

To ensure efficient start-up at the beginning of each week and close down at the end of each week.

Operating machinery to support multiple production lines

Read and interpret production specifications

Raw material replenishment to ensure production runs smoothly

Changeover of machines to meet product specification

Responsible for packing and palletising of products

Cleaning and inspection of work area and machinery

Working as a team to ensure changeover of machines is completed when require

Responsible for ensuring that quality assurance checks are regularly undertaken in accordance with quality procedures andaccurately recorded on the data capture.

Responsible for ensuring all waste is disposed of in the correct manner (Recyclable materials sorted, scrap materials etc.) to reduce waste were possible.

To fully comply with all company Health and Safety regulations.

To ensure you maintain agreed standards of housekeeping and ensure areas are kept clear from obstruction and pedestrian areas are kept clear from slipping/tripping hazards.

Shift

Monday -Friday -No weekends

Continental shift pattern including days and nights - 12 hours shifts - 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am so candidates must be flexible and able to commit to the shift patters. Rota is working in 3 weeks cycle.

Pay Rate

£14.13 per hour

This is an interview-based role. If successful, candidates will have to undertake a medical / drug and alcohol test to be offered the position.
