Job summary

Windles Group in the Oxfordshire countryside is a certified B-Corp print house with on-site design support. This is a full-time, on-site Machine Operator role based in Thame.

You will set up, operate, monitor and adjust printing and finishing machinery to produce high-quality outputs that meet specifications and deadlines. Daily tasks include basic maintenance checks, loading and unloading stock, inspecting outputs for defects, recording production data and working with the team to improve

Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial printing/finishing machinery.
• Strong eye for detail and quality control of printed outputs.
• Ability to use hand tools for adjustments and setup.
• Clear communication with supervisors and team members.
• Experience in print manufacturing or packaging production is beneficial.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, production schedules and safety protocols.
• Comfort with standing, lifting and manual handling in a fast-paced environment.
• Vocational training or certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

The company specializes in UV litho printing for greetings cards, luxury packaging, cartons, and rigid boxes. Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Machine Operator role based in Thame. The Machine Operator will set up, operate, monitor, and adjust printing and finishing machinery to produce high-quality printed products. Daily tasks include performing basic maintenance checks, preparing materials, loading and unloading stock, and ensuring production runs meet technical specifications and deadlines. The role involves inspecting output for defects, completing production records, following health and safety procedures, and working closely with supervisors and colleagues to resolve issues quickly. The Machine Operator will collaborate with the wider production team to support continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Machine Operation and working safely with industrial Machinery.
• Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control and visual inspection of finished products.
• Candidates should possess skills in using Hand Tools for adjustments, basic maintenance, and setup.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for coordinating with supervisors and team members.
• Experience in print manufacturing or packaging production is beneficial.
• Ability to follow technical instructions, production schedules, and safety protocols is required.
