Permanent Position from Day One

We are recruiting for a number of Machine Operator positions with a well-established FMCG manufacturer based in Telford, Shropshire. These are permanent opportunities offering excellent job security, competitive pay, and the chance to join a thriving production environment.

The company is looking for motivated individuals with previous manufacturing experience who can operate production equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating production machinery in line with company procedures and production schedules.
• Monitoring machine performance and ensuring efficient output throughout the shift.
• Carrying out routine quality checks to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
• Loading raw materials and packaging materials as required.
• Identifying and reporting machinery faults, defects, or production issues.
• Completing production paperwork and recording operational data accurately.
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards across the production area.
• Adhering to all health, safety, and food hygiene procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Process Operator, Technical Operator, or within a similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience within FMCG, Food Manufacturing, Packaging, Pharmaceutical, Print, or other fast-paced production environments would be advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
• A proactive and reliable approach to work.
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work a rotating 4 on 4 off shift pattern covering days and nights.
• Ideally living within a 25-mile radius of Telford, Shropshire.
