Machine Operator

Temporary ongoing assignment in Leamington Spa.

Pay Rate: £14.03 per hour (Days), £15.43 per hour (Shifts).

Shifts:

1. Starting on days, moving to rotating shifts.
2. Days: 07:00-16:00 Monday-Thursday, 07:00-12:00 Friday (30-minute break).
3. Rotating shifts: 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 Monday to Thursday, 06:00-13:00 and 13:00-20:00 Friday (20-minute break), rotating fortnightly.

Hours: 39 hours per week plus possible overtime.

Company: A leading international manufacturing company based in Leamington Spa.

The Role:

• Operate and run press machines.
• Manufacture components to high standards.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings.
• Use engineering measuring equipment such as Vernier's, callipers, or micrometers.
• Maintain machinery, including cleaning, checking, and ordering materials.
• Work with various metals, including stainless steel and aluminium.
• Remove and clean finished parts for production.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Complete relevant documentation.
• Adhere to tight deadlines and targets.

The ideal candidate will have previous CNC bending or machine shop experience within a manufacturing environment.
