An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Machine Operative to join their dynamic Manufacturing team. This permanent position offers exciting shifts, including a 4 on 4 off pattern and Monday to Friday night shifts. The role involves ensuring orders meet specifications, achieving performance targets, and collaborating with engineers on machine issues. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail being paramount. Whether you have prior manufacturing experience or are new to the field, comprehensive training will be provided to help you succeed in this rewarding position.

Job description

My client based in March is looking for 1 x Machine Operative to join the Manufacturing team.

PERMANENT

Hours of work:

1. 1 x 4 on 4 off, 06:00 - 18:00 (£12.96 per hour)
2. 1 x M-Fri Nights, 18:00-02:30 (£13.85 up to £14.55)

Main Responsibilities:

1. Ensuring completion of all orders within customer specifications
2. Meeting agreed performance targets
3. Completing all relevant checks and processes in line with company procedures, including start up checks, Navision 13 and quality checks
4. Ensuring effective communication at all times with key colleagues and the Senior Team Leader
5. Proactive interaction with the Engineers & Process technicians on machine related issues and opportunities
6. Engaging in departmental continuous improvement activities
7. Ensuring work area is tidy and safe at all times

Key Attributes:
