Rate: 17.80 - 18.80 or 23.91 - 25.26 via an Umbrella company

Location: Stevenage

Duration: 12 Months

Are you a skilled and detail-oriented individual looking to join a dynamic manufacturing team? This company is seeking a talented Surface Mount Machine Operator to be a part of their thriving operations in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. As a Surface Mount Machine Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks, including:

• Hand soldering Circuit Card Assemblies to IPC 610 & 001 standards
• Performing fine soldering work under magnification
• Assembling surface mount and through-hole components
• Undertaking detailed standard assembly and manufacturing activities
• Ensuring all work is completed to the required procedures, quality standards, safety requirements, and timescales

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Prior knowledge and experience in circuit card assembly
• Excellent dexterity for fine work
• The ability to read and interpret layouts
• A willingness to work flexible shift patterns
• Exceptional attention to detail
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• ESD training
