Job summary

SG Personnel Ltd are recruiting for an Operator for a busy manufacturing site in Washington. The role involves operating machinery, making small adjustments and packing when required, within a fast-paced mixing department of raw materials.

Two-shift pattern: 6am-2pm and 2pm-12am, Monday to Friday, paying £13.99 per hour. A solid 12 months production experience and steady work history are preferred, with a view to temporary-to-permanent for the right fit.

• Machine operating experience with some setting knowledge.
• At least 12 months production experience in a fast moving environment.
• Steady work history.

SG Personnel are working with a busy and expanding manufacturing company in Washington, who are looking to recruit an Operator on an ongoing basis, with a possible temporary to permanent transfer for the right fit.

Duties will include:

• Operating of machinery, which may require adjustments for smooth running


• Flexibility willingness to pack and palletise


• Work within a mixing department of raw materials


• Working at pace

Experience/Skills required

• Machine Operating experience, with some setting knowledge/capability


• At least 12 months Production experience, ideally within a fast moving environment

This will be a 2 shift pattern weekly rotating pattern as follows

6am-2pm (Monday to Friday) and 2pm-12am (Monday to Thursday), £13.99 per hour
