Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Machine Operator in Brownhills, England, offering immediate start with regular ongoing work. The role includes operating CNC machines, loading automotive parts, and quality inspecting products. Experience in factory or machine operating is preferred, but training will be provided. Pay starts at £12.26 per hour during training, increasing to £12.75 after two weeks and £13.26 after 12 weeks. Shifts are 6 am to 6 pm on a 4 days on, 4 days off rotation, including weekends.

Machine Operator

Immediate Start - regular ongoing work - weekly pay, job security

Basic machine operating, grinding, linishing, quality inspection work - training is provided, operating CNC machines.

Days: 6am to 6pm - 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern

Pay starts at £12.26 per hour for 2 weeks, increases to £12.75 per hour for 10 weeks and then to £13.26 per hour.

Duties of a Machine Operator

  • Will be operating CNC machines – sometimes working two machines
  • Loading automotive parts
  • Filing / grinding
  • Using hand tools / air tools
  • Quality inspection
  • Working to targets

Experience required for a Machine Operator

  • Previous factory work / machine operating work an advantage
  • Used hand tools and power tools an advantage
  • Previous manufacturing and production experience preferred – training is provided

Details of a Machine Operator

  • £12.26 per hour for 2 weeks training – then increases to £12.75 per hour and after 12 weeks will be £13.26 per hour – weekly pay
  • Shift is 4 days on then 4 days off – 6am to 6pm – you will know your rota well in advance
  • This will involve weekends as part of the shift pattern
  • Machine operating – making automotive parts
  • Based in Brownhills
  • Free parking
  • Manufacturing and production experience an advantage – but not essential as training is provided
