The role involves operating moulding machinery, loading beads, maintaining quality, and handling packing tasks within a team-focused environment.

• Operate plastic moulding machinery safely and efficiently.
• Load polymer beads into the machinery.
• Monitor the production process and ensure quality standards are met.
• Fill, seal and label boxes.
• Palletise finished products.
• Carry out general production and manufacturing duties.
• Follow health and safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a growing plastic manufacturing facility based in Eye, Suffolk.

This is a great opportunity for someone with previous machine operating experience who is looking for a long-term role with the potential to become permanent.

Working Hours

• Monday: 18:00-06:00
• Tuesday: 18:00-06:00
• Wednesday: 18:00-06:00
• Friday: 07:00-14:00

Key Responsibilities

• Operating plastic moulding machinery safely and efficiently
• Loading polymer beads into the machinery
• Monitoring the production process and ensuring products meet quality standards
• Filling, sealing and labelling boxes
• Palletising finished products
• Carrying out general production and manufacturing duties
• Following all health and safety procedures and company guidelines
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment

Requirements

• Previous machine operating experience is essential
• Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
• Reliable, hardworking and committed
• Comfortable carrying out physically demanding duties
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Must be able to commit to the full shift pattern
