Job summary

Major Recruitment is recruiting Machine Operators for a prestigious manufacturing client based in Blackburn. Previous experience in machine operation or manufacturing is essential, and training will be provided.

Role involves operating press machinery, loading materials, quality checks, setting up machines, monitoring performance, and teamwork to meet targets. Shifts are rotating 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00 with overtime rates.

Shift Patterns

Rotating Shifts

• 06:00 - 14:00
• 14:00 - 22:00

Pay Rates

Rotating Shifts

• Band 1: £13.68 per hour
• Band 2: £14.18 per hour (following successful completion of additional skills training and sign-off)

Overtime Rates

• Weekdays: Time and a half
• Saturdays: Time and a half
• Sundays: Double time

• Reliable, punctual and safety conscious.
• Willingness to undertake additional training to progress to Band 2.
