Job summary

Specdrum Limited is seeking a Machine Operatives - Multi Skilled Operative to accurately operate machines and manufacture component parts to required quality standards. You will read and interpret technical drawings, update the production planner, handle and transport parts, and maintain a safe, well-organised workstation.

Daily safety checks must be completed and you will follow supervisor instructions and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education to GCSE level or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience working on a CNC machine.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine to manufacture component parts to required quality as per work instruction.
• Read, understand and implement technical drawings correctly.
• Update production planner as required.
• Handle, transport and store component parts according to training and instructions.
• Maintain work equipment and a safe, well organised workstation.
• Complete daily safety checks and submit check sheets as required.
• Follow instructions from Supervisor and comply with risk assessments and SOPs.
• Adhere to company policies and perform other duties as agreed with supervision.

Job Summary

To correctly operate machine to manufacture component parts for production, to required quality standard in accordance with work instruction provided.

• To read, understand and correctly implement technical drawings.
• To update the production planner.
• To handle, transport and store component parts as per training and instruction.
• To maintain work equipment and a safe and well organised workstation.
• To complete daily safety checks to ensure machine and work equipment is in good working order and submit all necessary check sheets as required.
• To follow instructions provided by Supervisor.
• To work in accordance with relevant Risk Assessments & safe systems of work (SSOW’s) and standard operating procedures (SOP’s), as per training and instruction.
• To comply with company policies and procedures.
• Any other duties, within reason and capability, as agreed with the General Manager / Supervisor.
