Job summary

AMFRESH is seeking a Machine Operative for our Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This permanent, weekly-paid role offers reliable hours and opportunities for long-term growth.

You will operate production machinery, load packaging materials and help maintain a clean, safe production environment on a 4 on, 4 off rota (07:00 - 19:30). You should have an interest or experience with machinery, strong numeracy and attention to detail, and good communication skills.

About The Role

We are recruiting for a Machine Operative at our Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This is a permanent, weekly-paid position, providing consistent work, reliable hours, and long-term growth opportunities within a thriving business.

• Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (07:00 - 19:30).


• Hourly Rate: £13.70 - £14.90 (paid weekly).

As an AMFRESH Machine Operative, you will:

• Manage our production machinery safely.


• Maintain high standards of cleanliness.


• Complete product changeovers, including loading new packaging materials.


• Monitor, set, and optimise machine performance to hit targets.


• Report changeovers, downtime, and operational issues to the Line Leader.


• Support a production line to fulfil daily customer orders.

About You

• Experience or an interest in machinery.
