Job summary

AMFRESH is hiring a Baler Yard Operative for our Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY). This permanent, weekly-paid role offers reliable hours and long-term opportunities within a growing business.

The role operates on a 4 on, 4 off shift (07:00 - 19:00) with an hourly rate of £12.80, paid weekly. You will maintain the yard, operate the baler safely, and support the wider team in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a yard or similar environment.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Drive and determination.

Responsibilities

• Operate the baler safely and report faults promptly.
• Complete daily checks on baling machine and monitor baling wires.
• Ensure timely handling of cardboard and general waste.
• Maintain a clean, organised yard in line with site hygiene standards.
• Support the yard and operational teams to keep a safe working environment.
• Dispose waste correctly in accordance to site rules.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
