Job summary

Pilgrims Europe is seeking a Machine Operative at our Ruskington site. You will set up and run machinery, ensure production targets are met, and maintain product quality to customer specifications.

The role offers 45 hours per week on a permanent basis with a rotating shift pattern and rest day on Sunday. Overtime is paid at premium rates, with a range of employee benefits available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Machine Operative or in a similar role is desirable.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills are desirable.
• Positive thinking and self-motivation are desirable.
• Ability to use own initiative and a can-do attitude are desirable.
• Excellent attitude to work and a hands-on approach to solving issues are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and ensure smooth operation of assigned machinery or equipment during your shift.
• Meet production targets and ensure products are produced and packaged to customer specifications.

Job description

We have exciting opportunities for Machine Operative / Machine Minder to join Our Team at Ruskington site!

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday rotating every 4 weeks. You will work 45 hours per week as standard on permanent morning or afternoon shift.

Start & Finish times vary by department and as guidance you will either work

• AM 04:30am - 13:30pm or 05:45am - 14:30pm
• PM 13:15pm - 22:00pm or 14:30pm - 23:15pm.

We specialise in Snacking Products which include Scotch Eggs, cocktail sausages, mini filled bites and seasonal products.

Successful candidates will join us on permanent basis. In your role you will be responsible for the set up and smooth operation of assigned piece of machinery or equipment throughout your shift. Ensuring that production targets are met and all our products are produced & packaged to high standard and according to the customer specification whilst adhering to Company policies, H&S and Food Safety Standards at all times.
