Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee and Qualified Traffic Management Operatives in the UK. The role involves setting up temporary traffic lights, managing traffic flow, and reading CAD drawings, with responsibilities to uphold health and safety and RAMS guidelines.

Candidates should have Lantra approved Traffic Management qualifications, be able to pass Drugs & Alcohol checks, hold the right to work in the UK, and possess a full UK driving licence (max 6 points).

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management qualifications are required.
• Able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol check.
• Right to work in the UK is essential.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points is required.

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing traffic flow at the temporary lights and ensuring the public comply.
• Reporting to site or operations manager as needed.
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work.
• Able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and removing traffic management within required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with traffic diversions.
• Ensuring the team works safely and to quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware of RAMS and follow them.
• Assist with unloading/loading of materials.
• Follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Report plant and vehicle defects.
