Job summary

Pinson TM Limited is recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives in the UK. The role covers setting up traffic lights, managing traffic flow, and reading CAD drawings. You will work with direct and subcontract labour to meet targets and deadlines.

Experience in M1/M2 operations is valued, with responsibilities including site reporting, safety compliance, and RAMS adherence. A full UK driving licence and legal right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
• Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Setting up temporary traffic lights at roads required.
• Managing the traffic flow at the temporary traffic lights ensuring the public abide by this.
• Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager.
• Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work.
• Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
• Maintaining and remove traffic management within the required time scales.
• Setting up traffic lights.
• Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
• To ensure the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
• Be aware and comply to the provided RAMS.
• To help with the unloading/loading of materials.
• Ensure safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
