Job summary

adi Mechanical M&E/Utilities Project Manager is based in the North West region, focusing on delivering mechanical projects on time and to budget. You will evaluate large-scale opportunities and coordinate internal and Group resources to prepare compliant tender submissions.

The role requires a time-served apprenticeship or ONC/HNC in Mechanical/Process Eng, CAD capability, and proven experience in the food and beverage sector, with strong financial and operational awareness to drive revenue

Qualifications

Time-served apprenticeship or ONC/HNC in Mechanical/Process Engineering.
CAD capability to produce and maintain drawings.
Experience in the food and beverage industry is essential.
Strong financial and operational management awareness.
Good judgement and solutions-focused approach.
Experience managing customers and stakeholders effectively.
Solid Health & Safety management under CDM controls.
Track record of delivering large-budget projects in competitive environments.
Experience securing major revenue projects and contributing to policy.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver industrial mechanical / M&E / Utilities and Process projects from initiation through to completion.
Prepare quotations, secure new work, and contribute to revenue growth.
Oversee onsite activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to spec.
Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams for seamless execution.
Monitor budgets, labour resources, and overall project performance to meet targets.
Build and maintain client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
Ensure mechanical installations meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.
Lead project meetings, provide progress updates, and resolve issues promptly.
Manage project documentation, variations, and handover packages to a high standard.
