Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is recruiting a M&E Technician to join the University of West London team. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including leave, discounts, and learning opportunities.

You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems, including HVAC and BMS interfaces, while ensuring safety compliance and accurate records. On-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or 3
• Experience in building services or facilities management
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Effective fault finding and problem solving
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Good communication and customer care skills
• Well organised and flexible

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems
• Maintain and repair HVAC heating and water systems including BMS interfaces
• Ensure health and safety compliance and participate in water hygiene tasks
• Keep accurate maintenance and compliance records
• Provide excellent service to university staff, students and visitors
• Collaborate with site teams and support subcontractors
• Participate in on-call rota as required
