Job summary

EQUANS is seeking a skilled M&E Technician to join our team at the University of West London. This full-time position offers a competitive salary along with an extensive benefits package, including 24 days of annual leave, life cover, and discounts on major retailers.

The ideal candidate will possess a mechanical qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 and experience in building services. Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC systems and ensuring health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in building services or facilities management.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• For this role, you must have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Maintain and repair HVAC heating and water systems including BMS interfaces.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and participate in water hygiene tasks.
• Keep accurate maintenance and compliance records.

Skills

Effective fault finding and problem solving skills

Good communication and customer care skills

Strong knowledge of mechanical plant and health and safety regulations

Well organised and flexible

Education

Recognised mechanical qualification such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
